Carpe Noctem is Horde guild based on Lightbringer EU server.
We have been around for over two years and raiding 25-mans since summer 2007.
We hold server first kills of all Sunwell bosses, server second kills of Illidan and Archimonde and Horde first kills on the server for every single 25-man boss in TBC. We also got server first kills on Sartharion, Thaddius, Sapphiron and Malygos and Horde first kills for everything else.
Now we look for few more dedicated and skilled players to help us refresh our ranks and progress through WotLK 25-mans steadily as soon as new content is released.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

We look only for players at maximum level, geared in combination of new level 80 drops and emblem rewards with possible old Sunwell epics for some slots. The recent gear reset restarted only that. We're fine with giving rerollers a chance but it have to be people that got decent raiding experience. We want people that have spent some days on fights like Vashj, Kael'thas, Kalecgos and onwards - simply because that's the level of raiding everyone else in the guild experienced. We adapt to new stuff fast and we don't want to wait too long for anyone else to catch up.

WHEN DO WE RAID?

Our raiding schedule is Sunday to Thursday (with Friday and Saturday as days off). Usual raid times are between 19:30 and midnight, but sometimes we take bit longer on progress nights.

WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS?

People we recruit must have:
- A mature and intelligent attitude. Insulting other guild members is a no-go. We have all kinds of jokes running in the guild and party chat but everyone knows when to stop. We also don't want any drama over not being taken to a particular raid.
- Good knowledge of your class. You have to be able to choose the correct build, gems and enchants. You have to know what spell rotation to use. We are past the point when players have to be taught what to do by their class leaders.
- Good "nintendo skills". You have to be able to provide high DPS, TPS or healing done while not staying in those damn fires. Noone will bite your head off if you make a couple of mistakes but if making mistakes is your particular playstyle we are not the place for you.

During the first few weeks after recruiting we expect you to be able to be present for 75% of our raids. If you pass your trial and prove to be valuable player we don't mind lower availability - as long as there are replacements for you (which we should have). We also don't mind people having to answer the phone, open the door or take 5 minutes to sort out whatever - if we are clearing the trash and not attemping the boss at the moment. 25 people are not needed to clear any kind of trash in the game anyway. All we ask for is to give your best once you are at your PC and playing.
